Two modified treatment methods for pretreated corn stalk and its composites with modified lignosulfonate

Effects of two different modified treatments were investigated relative to the chemical and mechanical properties pretreated corn stalk particles their composites prepared with a lignosulfonate (ML) binder. Corn (CP) first by treating oxalic acid in ultrasonic conditions (pretreated particles, PCP). These then treatment either laccase-vanillin system ultrasound (LU) or polyethylenimine-glutaraldehyde (PU), surface chemistries PCP LU-PCP/ML PU-PCP/ML composites, such as modulus rupture (MOR), elasticity (MOE), internal bonding strength (IB), 24-h thickness swelling (TS), crystallinity compared. Both dramatically enhanced composites. The MOR, MOE, IB improved up 148%, 81%, 62%, respectively, compared LU-PCP/ML. Moreover, TS was reduced 16%. results show that pretreatment method CP collaborative can effectively improve its Modified PU more favorable for properties.
